Dance Party is a dance mat game that has the totally unique feature of allowing gamers to use any CD at all to generate dance routines. Until now, dance game fans have had their fun limited by the number of licensed songs on the game disc. With Dance Party, there is no limit to the tunes you can dance to, since any and every CD in your personal collection can be used with the game to create a series of dance steps. This party is what you make it - be it R&B, Pop, Disco, whatever - with MTV Dance Party, you call the tunes! Background graphics are also generated to suit the style and content of the music. The game is controlled either with a dance mat or the PS2 controller. The game's graphics have a stylish and modern look, as opposed to the garish and saturated tones of competitor titles.
