In a world very much like our own, Millennium Blades is the world's most popular collectible card game. Continuously in print for more than a thousand years, the game has seen thousands of expansions and billions of cards.
Players from around the world seek to become world champions by mastering duels and collecting the game's rarest and most coveted cards. Still others live by the game, building financial empires by dealing, speculating, and trading in the aftermarket. Many are content simply to play for fun and meet new friends.
Your very own Millennium Blades Legend is about to unfold! What will be your path to glory? With your starter deck in hand and a dream in your heart, the time has come to step boldly into the world of Millennium Blades!
Millennium Blades is a board game about a fictional collectible card game, which is also called Millennium Blades. You begin the game on pre-release night with just your starter deck. You'll open new packs, form collections, and sell your junk cards on the aftermarket to buy hot new cards. Trade with your friends, build up your deck, and prepare to compete at Millennium Blades Worlds for the title of World Champion!
This is a game about competitive deck building. You get a limited pool of cards, and then you tinker them into the most unfairly over-powered, table-flippingly broken deck that you can imagine. And your deck had better be pretty crazy, because your opponents won't be giving any quarter, and they all have unique collections with access to their own high-tier power cards.
In addition to deckbuilding, you'll be speculating on blind pack buys, selling and buying cards on the aftermarket, and fusing your cards to make rarer and better ones to get an advantage over the competition. You might even make a few friends, if you're willing to help them out.

Millennium Blades is a large-scale game that takes around 2 hours to play (depending on the number of players and their familiarity with the game). Between 2 and 5 players can participate. The intensity level of this game is fairly high, and you'll need to use all your gaming skills to make it to the top.
There's not really anything else in gaming that's comparable to the full scope of Millennium Blades. It's part Galaxy Trucker, part Ascension, and part Race for the Galaxy.
Will you try to build the Ultimate Deck and sweep the tournament scene? Will you become the most accomplished collector in the world? Will you make stacks of money in the Aftermarket and in trades, or will you help your friends along the path to glory? There's nothing quite like beating that smug tournament player with the power of friendship, haggling to get that last card you desperately need for your deck, or drawing that one, legendary power card from a random, unexpected pack.
Every game of Millennium Blades offers new and unexpected twists, turns, and possibilities!
There are two parts to Millennium Blades — Tournaments and Deckbuilding. These will be repeated over several rounds. The player who can acquire the most Victory Points by the end of the third Tournament is the winner!
In the Deckbuilding Phase, you will buy cards and freely construct your deck in a limited time frame. Players can trade with each other, collect sets, participate in the player rewards program, and more.
* Buy new cards from the store. * Sell and buy old cards on the aftermarket. * Trade cards with other players. * Fuse cards through the Player Rewards Program to get high-power promotional cards. * Collect cards to form sets and earn collector prestige. * Build your deck for the tournament phase.
In the Tournament Phase, you will use the cards you have selected to participate in a free-for-all battle and score more points than opponents. Push your Ranking as high as you can to get those tournament Victory Points!

At the end of the game, the winner is the player who can acquire the most Victory Points. There are many paths to these points, however...
* Winning Tournaments is the largest source of Victory Points * Completing valuable Collections is another way to get big points. * The Money you've made in the Aftermarket will score points. * Friendship that you've earned from helping the other players will earn you some points as well.
