In Circus, the players send their best artists into the arena to perform a number. If your performer is better than the previous one, then there is a deafening applause for the most points. The game is played over 7 rounds.

In each round, players use their upgrade cards to provide their artists with upgrade dice. Each different colored die represents a different upgrade (e.g. talent, costume, impression, ...). When you think your artist is ready, you can send him or her in the ring for a performance.
